Karabiner is not working on my Mac?

Modified on Fri, 05 Aug 2016 at 09:38 AM

If you run into any issues with 3rd party plugins and your Editors Keys keyboard, you can manually set up your new keyboard as a Mac keyboard in a couple of easy steps.

1.) If you have already installed karabiner, please disable karabiner (It will display as a key in your Mac's tool bar near the clock. top right.)

2.) Restart your computer. This will reset your keyboard to the PC set up.

3.) Follow this video to manually change the position of the CTRL, ALT and CMD keys. Your keyboard will now function as a Mac keyboard. (and to get the F keys working simply hold down the 'fn' key to access them.)
